I’m Featured on The Sisterwives!

Today I’m over at The Sisterwives sharing a childhood memory. It’s beautiful in a rips-out-your-soul-and-punches-you-right-in-the-feels kind of way. I’m pretty proud if it.

A little bit about the Sisterwives…

Committed to encouraging others to Write Free! and demonstrate that good can come even of the worst pain, when we use the hurt to help others.

This is a place to raise awareness, offer support and provide resources.

This is a place to seek out silver linings.

Darkness into light. Adversity into strength. Friendship into sisterhood.

I love what these women are doing. Their stories are powerful. Their message bold. Showing the world that women are a force to be reckoned with. Even more powerful in numbers, working together to transform past negative experiences into positive and thriving messages.

If you haven’t followed their blog yet, DO IT NOW! As someone who has a habit of trying to be too tough for my own good, I often find myself tearing up at some of their posts. Epic stuff.

Next week will be back to regularly scheduled sarcasm and adult-themed nonsense. But for today, let’s reflect on our past pains and appreciate how far we’ve come in life.

  3. R. G. Tamaki

That was awesome. Kicked me in the feels. Felt it in the plums.

Thank you but sorry about the plums.
    May they recover with ease.

Beautiful writing – you really captured viewing the memory as your current self & seeing it through the eyes of your younger self. I so relate to the subject matter – thanks for the bravery of sharing! Plus, that is an awesome website. Congrats!

      Thanks so much!
It was rather freeing to write.
I’m sorry you relate but you’re amazing!
Getting cookie butter this weekend. I’ll let you know how it goes.
